Tech Consulting Projects

Our tech consulting teams partner with Israeli startups to solve complex technical challenges. Projects focus on areas like product development, software architecture review, data analysis, and technology stack recommendations.

Project Duration: Typically one academic quarter (can be renewed)

Key Activities:

  • Technical feasibility studies for new product features
  • Evaluating and recommending optimal cloud solutions
  • Developing prototypes or proof-of-concepts
  • Analyzing user data to inform product iterations
  • Competitive technology landscape analysis

Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive technical reports and recommendations

  • Code reviews and best practice guides
  • Presentation to client with actionable technical insights

Business Consulting Projects

Student-led teams work with Israeli startups or scale-ups on real business problems. Projects typically span product strategy, market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, or go-to-market planning.

Project Duration: One academic quarter (renewable for multiple quarters)

Team Structure:

  • Consultants: 4–6 members per team
  • Project Manager: Usually a student with prior experience in the track

Deliverables:

  • Final presentation to the client
  • Mid-quarter progress check-in
  • Optional written report or dashboard, depending on client need

  • Market entry strategy for a cybersecurity startup
  • User acquisition analysis for a mobile app company
  • Pitch deck overhaul for a pre-seed company
Fund Management

Student analysts manage a virtual stock portfolio, using long-term value investing strategies. Each analyst researches sectors or companies and presents pitches to the internal investment committee. The fund is educational and simulates a real investing environment.

Investment Strategy: Value-based equity analysis

Key Activities:

  • Stock pitch presentations
  • Fund performance tracking
  • Weekly meetings for macro analysis and portfolio review
  • Use of tools like Yahoo Finance, Excel models, and analyst reports

Team Structure:

  • Analysts: 4–8 members per fund team
  • Portfolio Manager: Usually a senior TAMID student overseeing quality control

Output:

  • Buy/sell/hold recommendations

  • Investment theses and risk assessments
National Case Competition

An annual event where teams from all chapters solve a business challenge posed by an Israeli company or investor. Winners often receive national recognition or prizes.
